BTPT: Nature Walk Flower Bracelets

Been There, Pinned That, Changed My Life:
Nature Walk Flower Bracelets

I have girly girls. They enjoy the pretty things in life, including anything pink, frilly, sparkly, pearly and flowery. Especially flowery. This means our early morning walks will always take a while. Whilst there is running and jumping, there is more skipping, and singing, and dawdling. We stop often, to smell the roses…. and the daisies....and the buttercups....and to blow the dandelions.

BTPT: Children's Birthday Interview Book

Been There, Pinned That, Changed My Life : Children’s Birthday Interview Book

It’s true that children say some of the cutest things. My Facebook feed is often filled with my children's and my friends' children's' cutesy sayings and conversations. Sadly Facebook has no “Preserve for All Eternity” button, and these wonderful moments in time are long forgotten as soon as they disappear from the news feed.

When I saw this pin, I thought this would be a fabulous idea to start a birthday book for each of my girls preserving a brief snapshot in time that they could look back on to get an idea of who they were, what they liked and disliked, and what was important to them, and earn a *Super Mummy Star*in the process.

BTPT: ABC Book

Been There, Pinned That, Changed my Life:  ABC Book

When I saw this pin, I thought in this day and age of technology, it really is true that anyone can create a book.

BTPT: Artsy Silhouettes & Inspirational Quotes

This project was one of my most inspired Pinterest moments. I found a way to motivate my girls, incorporate their love of pink, pink and only pink, and decorate their playroom at the same time.

I love Pinterest! It helps me feel as though I could do anything. I am Supermum and Domestic Goddess rolled into one!  A few minutes browsing and I leave with the supernatural ability to cut lunch sandwiches into puzzles, to use a sparkling calm jar instead of the naughty corner, and to make zen-like reading nooks out of old rusty trampolines.
